Khosh umadin! خوش اومدین! 🧡
Welcome!🧡
I’m Shirin—your guide, fellow traveler, and someone who believes in the magic of words and melodies. This isn’t just a space for learning Persian—it’s a place to discover, express, and connect. Teaching and music are the heartbeats of my life, and I believe every word and song has a story to tell.
My Journey
Teaching Persian has always been a joy for the last 5 years for me, but life recently nudged me in a new direction. In January 2024, I faced a major challenge—severe throat problems that left me unable to speak for over a month. It was a difficult, silent period, filled with reflection, healing, and recalibration.
Unable to teach as I once did, I asked myself: How can I serve my students while protecting my voice? These questions led to a new approach—one that embraces online teaching and creative resources, allowing me to connect with learners worldwide.
During this time, I also turned inward, deepening my connection to music. Just like teaching, music became my path to full expression. The silence became a catalyst for clarity, growth, and a renewed passion for both teaching and singing.

I Studied Spanish Language in Allameh Tabataba'i University, and am a certified Persian teacher as a foreign language. Currently, I'm residing in the beautiful country of Georgia.

Music: My Heart’s Language 🎵
Parallel to my teaching journey, I’m pursuing music in a deeper, more intentional way. Music is where I feel most free, and I believe that the authenticity I bring to my songs also enriches my teaching. Both are expressions of my soul—one through language, the other through melody.

How I envision most of my students
Now, let me share a little anecdote with you. I envision my students, especially those with Persian backgrounds, as turtles returning to their birthland to hatch. One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the discovery that many of them are adults who never had the opportunity to learn Persian from their families or during visits to Iran. Yet, as adults, with newfound independence and authority, they choose to embrace their heritage. Why turtles, you ask? Because just like these resilient creatures, they carry their origins with them, even if the memories are faint or fragmented. Their heritage calls to them, and their hearts resound with a resounding 'YES, MAMA!' as they take the brave step to swim back to the place that has no map to follow, where the only way to find it is to heed the call.

Why “Shirin School”?
This space is for those who love Persian language, culture, and creativity. It’s a community where we explore, learn, and connect through words and music.

With love,
