A Little About Me

I studied Spanish Language at Allameh Tabataba'i University and became certified in teaching Persian as a foreign language. I am currently studying Master of Business Administration at Caucasus University in Tbilisi, Georgia.

In 2024, after experiencing serious throat problems that temporarily took away my ability to speak, I was forced to slow down and rethink everything. Ironically, silence brought me closer to my real voice. ShirinSchool was reborn from that shift.

And today, it continues to grow as I grow.

If you’re here, I hope you stay curious.
I hope you ask questions.
I hope you sing loudly.
I hope you reconnect with something meaningful.

And most of all, I hope Persian starts feeling a little more alive to you.

About ShirinSchool

Here, Persian unfolds through music, poetry, pronunciation, storytelling, culture, humor, nostalgia, and human connection.

Some people arrive here because they want to learn Persian.
Some because they fell in love with an Iranian.
Some because they grew up hearing Persian around them and want to reconnect to a part of themselves that was never fully lost.
And some simply because a Persian song stopped them in their tracks.

You’ll often find Persian tutorials beside karaoke videos, cultural breakdowns beside original music, and language lessons beside stories from Iran.

That mix is the heart of ShirinSchool.

Music & Persian

Music has always been inseparable from the way I teach.

Persian is an incredibly musical language — soft, rhythmic, poetic, emotional. So naturally, songs became one of the strongest bridges between me and my students.

Alongside teaching, I’m also building my own musical path as a singer and songwriter.

A Note for Diaspora Persians

One of the most moving parts of this journey has been meeting Iranians (Persians) around the world who never truly had the chance to learn their own language growing up.

Many arrive here carrying fragments:
a grandmother’s expression,
a song from childhood,
a memory of family gatherings,
a few words spoken at home.

And then one day, as adults, they decide to return to the language on their own terms.

That choice moves me deeply.

Because language is not only communication.
Sometimes it is reconnection.
Sometimes it is healing.
Sometimes it is a way back home.
