Persepolis stone carving of two hands holding, symbolizing Persian culture, history, and connection.

Why I Chose the Persepolis Holding Hands as a Main Element of My Website

If you’ve visited my website or opened the Barāye To برای تو journey, you’ve probably seen the repeating image of two hands gently holding — carved into stone in Persepolis پرسپولیس over 2,500 years ago.

People sometimes ask me why I chose this image.
Here is the simple answer:

I chose it because it captures everything I want my work to stand for.

These hands — carved by ancient craftsmen — show a moment of grace, connection, and trust.
No force, no tension, no war.
Just two people walking together.

Hand in hand.

And this is exactly what Barāye To is meant to be:

- a bridge between hearts
- a way of holding hands across languages
- a gentle connection between people who love each other
- an invitation into a rich culture

Persepolis stone relief of two hands holding — a 2,500-year-old Persian symbol of gentleness, loyalty, and human connection.

The version you see on my website repeats like tiles —And in the center, I highlighted one image in my signature Barāye To color.
Because each relationship, each learner, each story, each love is unique.Only one tile is red.
Only one connection is yours.

This image holds my values:

1- Life goes on — even the greatest empires rise and fall — but love remains.
And my own life is just one moment in that long human story, so I honor it as something bigger than me (Persepolis پرسپولیس).

To me, this is Persian culture at its deepest level:
gentle, inviting, warm, poetic, protective, symbolic, full of meaning.

2- Gentleness, in the soft, respectful way the hands are holding.
And connection, in the quiet meaning of the gesture itself.

Two hands carved in Persepolis — a timeless reminder that gentleness and connection outlast even the greatest empires.

3- And in a very personal way, this image reminds me of something else:

Everything I create — a painting, an e-book, a video, a blog, a course — is just one brick in a much larger story.
Barāye To became one of those bricks, glowing in its own juicy red color.
My Hamchelle song is another brick.
My alphabet course, my Yalda content, every small step I take — each one is a brick I place with intention.

This reminds me that my life is one tiny brick in an everlasting story of human love and connection.
I only get one brick in this world.

So the real question becomes:
How do I color it?
How do I choose to paint my brick of life?

With gratitude and love, ♥️
