30 Azar 1404
Let me explain:
Shab-e Yaldā is always celebrated on the last night of the Month Azar every year. Azar is the last month of autumn, meaning the month 9th of the Persian year.
So Yalda 2025 is Sunday night, 21 December 2025 – the longest night of the year and the beginning of Chelleh.

In the table above, you can also see how Yalda (also known as Chelleh) falls on the last day of Āzar آذر, which in most years corresponds to December 21–22 in the Gregorian calendar. Keep in mind that the official Iranian calendar is calculated differently from the Gregorian system, so the Persian date (۳۰ آذر) must always be taken as the basis for determining the exact night of Yalda.
